Current News Cafe

The Current News Cafe event gathers foreign students around the world to educate them on current events. Numerous countries including some areas of the United States do not have enough information about current events that are relevant to the younger generation. The goal of this program is to educate students on topics in the current era that will affect their lives. We also invite students to prepare presentations on how current events are impacting them to show how differently or similarly people around the world are affected by the same event. As of right now, the Current News Cafe is still in it's early stages of development and the program has only focused on climate change, but we plan on implementing more and more events that will be useful to learn about.
